When will the application open for grants?
We just closed the grants for 2020, but be sure to sign up for our newsletter in order to get updates about the next round of grants that we put out.
Who will qualify for these grants?
To be eligible for a grant from Go Fund Bean, applicants must have been working an hourly position in the coffee industry on March 1, 2020.
Priority will be given to those who are in imminent danger of losing their housing.

How much money will be disbursed?
We are going to disperse $12,000 in the form of 24 $500 grants!
How will the money be disbursed?
When the grant application is released, people will be able to choose between ACH payment (direct deposit), check, or money order, whichever method works best for them.
When will recipients get the money?
We will notify applicants whether or not they will be receiving a grant within 30 days of the application period closing. Grant money will be disbursed in the method recipients chose during the application process within 14 days of notification. ACH (Direct Deposit) payments should take between 1-2 business days of notification, and check/money orders will be sent via USPS and can take between 2-7 business days from notification.
Where is this money coming from?
Go Fund Bean received donations from several collaborators. We used some of the money to cover some of our overhead costs associated with running a non-profit (primarily filing fees) and the rest is being used to create the grants.
